Al Capone's greatest adversary was Bugs Moran, and his North Side Gang. Both Capone and Moran sought after being in control of Chicago's bootlegging industry. On February 14, 1929 four of Capone's men entered a garage that was the main bootlegging business. Two of Capone's men were dressed as police officers, so Moran's men thought it was a raid, and they dropped their weapons and surrendered. Capone's men made the North Side Gang members line up against a wall where the seven members will shot and killed. Moran was the main target of this attack, however he was not present at the time of the shooting. Capone was never proved to be the mastermind behind the shooting.
